Trainees sparking passion for technology at Elementary School

As part of the technology enthusiasm project “SET – Students Discover Technology”, five of our trainees took on the role of tutors at the elementary school in Eging am See. Over the course of six afternoons, they introduced 4th grade students to the exciting world of technology – true to the motto “Inspire through doing”.

With great patience and enthusiasm, Anna Tiefenböck, Julian Kufner, Philipp Schuster, Simon Knapp and Jakob Hoffmann helped the children solder and assemble technical kits.

Together, they built an LED flashlight, a flashing light circuit, and a siren – for many students, it was their first time working with tools and creating something of their own.

A successful project that brought joy to everyone involved – and might even produce one or two future technicians!

2nd Place in the Supreme Discipline

At the “Lamer Winkel” ultra-trail (UTLW), held in the Bavarian Forest region, exceptional runner Tina Fischl once again demonstrated her outstanding form.
In the supreme discipline, the “Bayerwaldkönig”, covering a 54-kilometer course with 2,500 meters of elevation gain, she once again impressively demonstrated her remarkable endurance and mental strength. The technically demanding route led across the mountain ranges around the Großer Arber and along the eight-thousand-meter peaks of the Goldsteig trail, before concluding in Lam after the challenging ascent to the Osser.

Despite the grueling conditions, Fischl got off to an excellent start. She held her position in the leading group and delivered a consistently strong performance throughout the race. However, due to a serious fall in the final third of the course, Tina Fischl had to slow down and was ultimately rewarded with an outstanding second place overall.

Especially remarkable: Tina Fischl also competed in the very first edition of the ultra-trail exactly ten years ago — and back then, she set a course record in the supreme discipline that still stands unbeaten to this day. A powerful testament to her long-standing excellence and consistency in endurance sports. At the finish line, she displayed great sportsmanship and expressed genuine respect for her fellow competitors. With this strong performance, she once again affirmed her exceptional status in the trail running scene and added another highlight to her successful running career.
