BMW half marathon Dingolfing 2024

Tina defends her victory from 2023 at the BMW half marathon in Dingolfing

Tina made a spontaneous decision to run the Dingolfing half marathon despite the bad weather.

More than 1,200 runners turned out for this perfectly organized event.

The starting signal was given at 1:30 pm on the dot. It was still dry at this point, but it started raining shortly afterwards.

Tina didn’t want to leave anything to chance and ran at a high pace from the start. After just a few kilometers, a gap opened between her and her pursuers and Tina pulled ahead.

Once again, it was a race against the clock, one’s weaker self and the inclement weather.

Though the atmosphere on the approximately 5-kilometer circuit trough the center of Dingolfing was good which helped to motivate the runners.

Overjoyed, Tina has done everything right again and successfully defended her title from the previous year with an excellent time of 1:22 hours.

‚Kärnten läuft‘ 2024

Tina Fischl fastest German athlete in the elite field

With fantastic running weather, the organizers were once again able to welcome around 7,000 participants to this year’s edition of ‘Kärnten läuft’ (Carinthia runs) at the various events on beautiful lake Wörthersee.

The highlight of the sports weekend was the half marathon from Velden to Klagenfurt, which featured top athletes from all over the world.

The race started at 9.00 am directly in front of the magnificent castle hotel in Velden at lake Wörthersee.

From the start a very fast pace was set at the front of the field.

In the last few kilometers, which became increasingly tough, Tina Fischl was determined to keep her place and kept the pace high.

Due to the very hot temperatures, however, this was not exactly easy for her.

The finish, at the Metnitzstrand in Klagenfurt, was getting closer and closer. Thousands of spectators cheered loudly along the route.

Only in the last few meters before the finish line did Tina realize that she would finish this incredibly great race as the best German athlete behind the eight fast women from Kenya and the two women from Austria.

After a short rest at the finish line, the runners were overjoyed and jumped into the refreshing waters of lake Wörthersee, following the organizer’s motto ‘Pack your swimsuit and running shoes’.

39th ‚Gäubodenvolkfest‘-run Straubing 2024

Sovereign victory for Tina Fischl on Assumption Day in Straubing

On Assumption Day, endurance specialist Tina Fischl from Fürstenstein made her way to Straubing early in the morning to take part in the 5 km race. The challenge on the predominantly flat, asphalted circuit was not to overdo it on the first few kilometers in the very hot temperatures of more than 30°C.

The experience endurance athlete from WSV Otterskirchen has been in the business long enough and therefore knew exactly how to tackle such a “heat race”.

The starting signal was given shortly after 9.00 am at the FTSV Straubing training grounds, and the runners headed out onto the tartan track and onto a cycle path towards the city center. Fischl set a fast pace right from the start and took the lead in the women’s field. Only two male athletes were ahead of the runner from Fürstenstein at this point. At the turning point after 2.5 km, Fischl realized that the gap to the competition was already quite comfortable. Fischl completed the rest of the course at a very brisk but steady pace, as none of the female runners were able to follow up on her. With a time of 18:40 minutes and a lead of 3 minutes, Tina Fischl finally crossed the finish line at the FTSV Straubing sports grounds overjoyed as first-placed woman to much applause from the spectators.

Grossglockner Mountainrun

Tina Fischl wins gold and positions herself excellently in the World Cup

As part of the Grossglockner Mountain Run 2024 with more than 1,000 registered participants, the third World Cup race of the World Mountain Running Association (WMRA) was held last weekend.

Tina Fischl, the German mountain running champion from 2015 and reigning Bavarian champion, wanted to compete with the best in the world at this event. Fischl has always performed very well here in previous years and has always finished at the front of the elite field.

With 1,300 m of elevation stretched over 13 km, the course was a tough one and is definitely one of the most challenging mountain-running races in the world.

After last year’s great weather, the starting signal was given punctually at 9 am in Heiligenblut in pouring rain. But this couldn’t stop the running enthusiasm, the athletes had the finish line on the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe in front of them and they wanted to reach it as quickly as possible.

The first 1.5 km were flat out of Heiligenblut and the pace was extremely fast. All participants had to work really hard to reach the finish line, as there were over 500 steps up to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe at the end.

Personal trainer Tina Fischl from Fürstenstein placed 12th overall in this exceptionally strong elite field and was the superior winner in her age group. Her final time was 5 minutes faster than last year, which clearly shows that the athlete’s form curve is clearly on the rise.

Concerning the overall victory, there was a huge surprise, especially among the women: the German European champion Nina ENGELHARD was the first woman to cross the finish line. With her time of 1:22:09, she left both the reigning world champion Joyce WJERU and the current World Cup leader Philaries KISANG (both Kenya) behind her.

In the men’s race, the Kenyan Richard ATUYA won in 1:10:04 ahead of his compatriots Josphat KIPROTICH and Michael SAOLI. Atuya was thus able to win the Grossglockner race, as he also won the KING OF Heiligenblut, the elite show competition on Saturday.

DHL Linz Airport Night Run 2024

Tina Fischl races to another airport victory

Another very special running event took place recently: the Airport Run at Linz airport.

This major event, which attracted a record number of participants with more than 2,600 registrations, is held in the middle of the airport runway.

Immediately after the security check on the runway, the athletes in the start area got into the mood for the event with party music. The atmosphere was unbelievably great.

The starting signal was scheduled for 00:00 sharp, an atypical time for such a race.

After last year´s successes, the eleven-strong Reischlhof Running-Team including endurance athlete Tina Fischl from Fürstenstein, naturally took up the challenge once again. Fischl she was determined to defend her title from previous year.

The aim was to complete the 5.0 km circuit on the runway as quickly as possible. The running course offered a unique atmosphere with its 1,700 lights embedded in the ground.

Tina Fischl wanted to leave nothing to chance here and set a very fast pace right after the starting signal. Only a few male athletes were ahead of her and none of the 800-plus competitors were able to follow up on her. On the course, the athletes had to contend with a strong headwind due an approaching storm, which made the race quite tough. Despite the sometimes-adverse conditions, personal trainer Tina Fischl didn´t miss a beat and literally flew towards the finish line.

In the end, Fischl was overjoyed to cross the finish line as defending champion after only 18:42 minutes.

Tina Fischl wins 1st Grafenauer Bärenlauf

Strong performance at the 1st Grafenauer Bärenlauf

The WSV Grafenau organized a city run for the first time, the so-called Bärenlauf

The main races over five and ten kilometres took place in addition to numerous children´s races.

As a native of Grafenau, endurance specialist and personal trainer Tina Fischl from WSV Otterskirchen did not want to miss out on this event and took on the challenge of the 10km distance. As soon as she set off on the circuit, it became clear that the course was tough, especially as the terrain in and around the spa garden in Grafenau was peppered with several meters of elevation and tight bends.

After the starting signal Fischl coped surprisingly well with this challenging course. Fischl even finished first in the 5km race, ahead of the fastest women in the short durance, without being classified.

Two more laps followed in the spa garden and Fischl continuously extended her lead over the first runner-up in the race. “The atmosphere on the course was so great, I kept hearing my name being called”, enthused Fischl after her start-finish victory in Grafenau. “Home races are always something special, a lot of participants and spectators know you. It was good to be cheered on so loudly throughout the four laps”, said Fischl.

With a final time of 40:13 minutes and just under four minutes ahead of the second place, Fischl ran to victory in her hold hometown and once again demonstrated her excellent form.
